The quarterback is the most difficult and most important position in the game because they are the leaders. They tell the offense the play and throw the ball to the open receiver or hand the ball to the running back in order to score a touchdown in order to win the game. Their success can really be the difference between a victory and a defeat because they handle the ball the most out of everyone. They have to be smart and athletic and have cannon arm in order to succeed at the position or else they don't play. Their are a lot of different ways to play the position between being a pocket passer or more of a guy who runs the ball himself. Their have been many great quarterbacks from Brett Favre to Peyton Manning, but in my opinion none of them will ever be able to do what Tom Brady has done. He was seen as the most unathletic football player in history and would never succeed anywhere he played at. However, it's his smarts and determination that got him 6 Super Bowl wins in the past few years and is still playing at the age of 41.
